As one of our dedicated orthodontists, Dr. Nordstrom has an easy answer for what he enjoys most about his day-to-day work – helping patients improve their smiles in lasting ways! He looks forward to welcoming you and your family in soon. Interested in learning more about him? Just keep reading below.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Nordstrom grew up in Newton and completed his Bachelor’s in Linguistics (with Minors in Spanish and Anthropology) from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society. He then spent some time working in financial services before deciding to attend dental school at UCLA. After graduating with his Doctor of Dental Surgery and being inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society, he completed his orthodontic specialty training at Ohio State University and received his Master of Science.
What Advanced Dental Training Do You Have?
Dr. Nordstorm is proud to be a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, which represents his ongoing pursuit of continuing education and clinical excellence in the orthodontic field. To achieve this distinction, he had to complete a rigorous set of written and clinical examinations, as well as an in-depth review of his credentials. He is also a current member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental society, and the American Association of Orthodontists.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
At home, Dr. Nordstrom is happily married with a newborn daughter. When he isn’t busy caring for smiles, his favorite hobbies include running, going to the gym, traveling, reading, and (of course) spending quality time with his loved ones.
